2008 China Sensor Market Assessment Report


This market research report, the second report as the same type as the first one on the sensor market in 2007 issued by gongkong (www.gongkong.com), aiming at fully describing the conditions and development trends of China sensor market in 2007.
In 2007, the market scale of China sensor (including photoelectric switch, proximity switch and travel switch) increased by 10.8% to 1.6 billion, lower than the increase rate of above 15% in 2006. The quantity of sensor in 2007 increased by 21.12% to 39 million. Compared with the increase rate of 30% in 2006, it increased at a relatively slow rate.
In 2007, the sales of photoelectric switch is 0.61 billion, accounting for 38.1%, the sales of proximity switch is 0.52 billion, accounting for 32.5%, and the sales of travel switch is 0.47 billion, accounting for 29.4%. The quantity of photoelectric switch, proximity switch and travel switch is respectively 6 million, 10 million and 23 million, accounting for 15.4%, 25.6% and 59% respectively.
