　早在2006年，ABB集团就将其全球机器人事务总部选址上海。把高端配备制作工业总部设在我国，对大型跨国公司来说是不常见的决定，可见ABB对我国工业机器人使用市场前景之看好和布局之早。

　　需求井喷的我国机器人市场

　　“工业机器人在我国的使用保持快速增长。2008-2013年，工业机器人在我国的销量年均增长达36%。仅在 2013年一年 ，就有36560台工业机器人，即当年全球销量的五分之一被销往我国，比2012年激增59%，我国也因而成为全球榜首大工业机器人市场。2014年，我国市场估计销量将超过50000台。”ABB(我国)有限公司副总裁、ABB机器人事务我国区总裁李刚向《世界经理人》介绍说。

　　工业机器人作为以“机器代人”，完结工业自动化的最直观有效形式，自1961年榜首台工业机器人Unimate在美国通用轿车出产线上出现后，开展一直没有停步。开始开展的数十年中，主要使用于对出产线功率、可靠性、安全性等要求较高的轿车出产领域。工业机器人八九十年代进入我国之初也主要使用于轿车职业，因为在绝大多数职业，用之不竭的劳作力让引入机器人变得不那么必要。

　　“但进入新世纪今后，我国经济形势发生了改变，一个显著的特点是劳作力本钱的上升和供应的下降，与此同时，劳作人口对职业与安全的关注也在不断加强。”李刚指出，“如何将劳作力从简单、单调、重复的劳作中解放出来，从事更有价值的作业，这是制作企业和咱们都在考虑的问题。”“相较于人工，机器人能够完结一些人类不适合或不愿意去完结的作业，例如在具有较高腐蚀性或者甲醛浓度高的作业环境下，明显机器人是比人类更适合的挑选。而与厌烦出产线上简单重复作业的80后和90后相比，机器人既不计较作业内容，也不知疲累,拥有更高的劳作功率。在作业的精度和洁度上，机器人的作业质量也更加稳定，出产损耗也较人力少一些。”不仅在功率、安全性等方面机器人具有显著优势，在以往阻碍企业使用的最大妨碍——本钱方面，工业机器人也在此消彼长中逐步取得优势。据李刚介绍，在3C职业的上板、撤板等工位，一台机器人能够取代3个工人。这种机器人的本钱为10万元人民|币出面，使用寿命大约是3-4年，上岗后所需的维护费并不高，而3个工人一年的工资福利开销达15万元以上。换句话说，使用机器人1年，即可收回本钱。
